Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Gavin Haase and Jorell Clark Lead Palo Alto to Victory

With a playoff win on the line, Palo Alto rose to the challenge on Saturday. They walked away with a 63-52 victory over the Christian Brothers Falcons. Winning may never get old, but the Vikings sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Palo Alto was led to victory by Jorell Clark and Gavin Haase. Clark went 13-for-26 to rack up 29 points and seven rebounds, while Haase shot 50% from the field en route to 17 points and six assists. The game was Clark's eighth in a row with at least 19 points. Another player making a difference was Nicholas Feitzinger, who posted eight points and eight boards.

Palo Alto pushed their record up to 25-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.0 points over those games. As for Christian Brothers, with the defeat, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 27-8.

Palo Alto has already played their next matchup, a 70-65 loss against King's Academy on the 11th. Christian Brothers does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
