Softball Recap: Huntley Project Red Devils vs. Conrad Cowboys

After a string of three wins, Huntley Project's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of the Conrad Cowboys by a score of 5-4. Huntley Project was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Conrad apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April.

For Conrad's part, Evagelene Denzer spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on eight hits. Denzer has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in eight consecutive pitching appearances.
