 Fulton was handed a two-point  loss in their last  matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Vestaburg  in Wednesday's  first game. Everything went the Fulton Pirates' way against the Vestaburg Wolverines as the Fulton Pirates made off with  a  12-2 win. That's more bragging rights for Fulton, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
  Trevor Brown and  Parker Duflo did most of the damage at the plate:  Brown  scored three  runs while going 2-for-2, while  Duflo  scored three  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.  Parker Hungerford was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances.
 On Vestaburg's side, they saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Luke Beard, who  went 1-for-3 with two  RBI.
 Fulton  made their fans wait, but they earned their first win of the season to make their record 1-2. As for Vestaburg, they are  on  a  22-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
 The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Fulton beat Vestaburg by a score of  17-1 later that day.
