Soccer Game Preview: Pennridge vs. Central Bucks East

The Pennridge Rams will challenge the Central Bucks East Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pennridge is coming into the match hot, having won their last eight games.

While Pennridge's win against Quakertown wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Rams had just enough and edged out the Panthers 2-1. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Pennridge's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 17th, while Quakertown are ranked 132nd).

Meanwhile, Central Bucks East unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-match winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of Central Bucks South by a score of 3-2. Central Bucks East fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Central Bucks South since Tuesday.

Pennridge's victory bumped their record up to 8-2-1. As for Central Bucks East, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 10-2.

Pennridge was able to grind out a solid win over Central Bucks East in their previous matchup back in September, winning 2-0. Do the Rams have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Patriots turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
