Rye Country Day extends road losing streak to three

Recap: Rye Country Day Wildcats vs. St. Luke's Storm
The Rye Country Day Wildcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They fell 72-65 to St. Luke. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead St. Luke's to victory, but perhaps none more so than Gavin Sommers, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Bailey Finn, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Rye Country Day dropped their record down to 0-3 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for St. Luke's, their win bumped their record up to 3-9.
Rye Country Day will head out on the road to square off against Riverdale Country at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for St. Luke's, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Greens Farms Academy at 4:45 p.m.
