Baseball Recap: Mulhall-Orlando Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Mulhall-Orlando had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 14-4 margin over the Carney Bulldogs. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.

Lincoln Oldenburg was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base. He has become a key player for Mulhall-Orlando: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 3-4 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Denver McKay, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Mulhall-Orlando's record is now 6-4. As for Carney, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mulhall-Orlando will host Coyle at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. We've got a battle between Bulldogs coming up.
