Basketball Game Preview: Nashua North Titans vs. Keene Blackbirds

Nashua North and Keene are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2018, but not for long. The Nashua North Titans are taking a road trip to square off against the Keene Blackbirds at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Nashua North has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since January 10.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 65-38, which was the final score in Nashua North's tilt against Alvirne on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Keene faced Trinity in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. Keene was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 68-67 to Trinity. The Blackbirds' loss signaled the end of their ten-game winning streak.

Nashua North's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Keene, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-2.

Nashua North and Keene were neck-and-neck in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, but Nashua North came up empty-handed after a 55-54 defeat. Can Nashua North avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
