Volleyball Game Preview: Richards Bulldogs vs. Chicago Christian Knights

The Richards Bulldogs will square off against the Chicago Christian Knights at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Monday, Richards came up short against Argo and fell 2-0.

While Richards ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Chicago Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Niles Notre Dame.

Chicago Christian was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-15.

Chicago Christian's loss dropped their record down to 18-17. As for Richards, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-18.

Richards beat Chicago Christian 2-0 in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
