After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Chipley, Malone was happy to have turned things around  on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by  an  18-8 margin over the Poplar Springs Atomics. Considering the Tigers have won seven matches by more than nine  runs this season, Tuesday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Arielle Dickens was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  struck out 11 batters over  six innings while giving up  four earned  (and four unearned) runs off   four  hits. With that strong performance,  she is now averaging an impressive 5.1  strikeouts per game. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 3-for-5 with four  RBI, one  triple,  and one  double.
 In other batting news, Malone got a  massive  performance out of  Jordin Josey, who  went 3-for-5 with five  stolen bases, four  RBI,  and two  runs. Josey is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last three games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  C Garrett, who  got on base  in all four of her plate appearances with seven  stolen bases, one  run,  and one  RBI.
 Malone  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .550. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Poplar Springs only posted  an  OBP of  .344.
Malone moved to 8-10 with that  victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Poplar Springs, their loss dropped their record down to 3-14.
As of now, neither Malone nor the Atomics have any future games scheduled.
