Heathwood Hall Episcopal's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performance. Perhaps the best among them was Thompson DuBose, who threw for 225 yards and two touchdowns on only 19 passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Another player making a difference was Grayson Hawn, who rushed for 154 yards and a touchdown.
Heathwood Hall Episcopal's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Wilson Hall, their victory was their sixth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which bumped their overall record up to 7-2.

As for Wilson Hall, they will be playing in front of their home fans against John Paul II at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. John Paul II will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps South Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 205th, while Wilson Hall is ranked 92nd).
