Softball Recap: Richwood Takes a Loss

Richwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 19-4 to the Pendleton County Wildcat. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcat this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 20-3 two weeks ago.

Richwood's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Pendleton County, the win (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 13-1.

Coming up, Richwood will be playing in front of their home fans against Greater Beckley Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pendleton County, they have already played their next matchup, a 6-3 victory against Tournament Opponent on the 11th.
