Mid-Carolina had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. Everything went their way against the Clinton Red Devils as they made off with a 12-1 win. That looming 12-1 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Rebels yet this season.

The victory got Mid-Carolina back to even at 3-3. As for Clinton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-5-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mid-Carolina will take on Eau Claire at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clinton, they will challenge Ninety Six at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Ninety Six will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
