Haxtun's leading rusher did his thing again on Friday. Zach Statz was unstoppable, rushing for 125 yards and two TDs while picking up 7.4 yards per carry.

Statz and Haxtun will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Dayspring Christian Academy at 1:00 p.m. on the 25th. The Fightin' Bulldogs got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Eagles thanks in part to Statz: he rushed for 113 yards and one touchdown on only 14 carries.
