Basketball Recap: Lake Mills Comes Up Short

Lake Mills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 47-39 to the Lodi Blue Devils. While losing is never fun, the L-Cats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 371st, while the Blue Devils are ranked 157th).

Lake Mills' defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Lodi, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-6.

Lake Mills will welcome Whitewater at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Lake Mills is facing Whitewater at the right time seeing as Whitewater is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Lodi, they are taking a road trip to challenge Poynette at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
