Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hundred). Couldn't have asked for a better way to wrap up 2024 than the 70-37 stomp they got against the Beallsville Blue Devils. The win was some much needed relief for the Hornets as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Leading Hundred to victory were Colt Sandy and Brayden Bartrug. Sandy dropped a double-double on 17 points and 19 boards, while Bartrug almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine boards. Sandy has been hot recently, having posted nine or more boards the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Trey Huggins, who posted eight points and five rebounds.

Hundred was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-4. As for Beallsville, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Hundred will take on Hancock at 1:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025. As for Beallsville, they will square off against Conotton Valley at 6:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025. Conotton Valley has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 2-1 during that stretch of close contests.
