Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Lake Catholic). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Warrensville Heights Tigers  a   28-0 shutout  on Thursday. The  victory was familiar territory for the Cougars, who have now won three  matchups in a row.
 Caden Boyes made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  pitched one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Boyes was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in two of his three plate appearances with two  runs and two  RBI. That's the most  RBI  he has posted since back in April.
 In other pitching news,  Patrick Radigan looked comfortable as he  struck out six batters over  two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances.
 Back at the plate,  Brayden Mann was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs. The dominant performance also gave  him a new career-high in  doubles (two).  Sean Walsh was another key player,  going a perfect 4-for-4 with three  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI.
 Lake Catholic  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .766. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
Lake Catholic pushed their record up to 19-4 with the  win, which was their fifth straight  at home. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for Warrensville Heights,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 3-12.
 Looking ahead, Lake Catholic will square off against Northwest at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Warrensville Heights does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
