Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Casa Roble couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Lincoln Mustangs by a score of 71-68 on Thursday. The Rams' defeat signaled the end of their 12-game winning streak.

Casa Roble's loss came despite strong showings from Moses Oginni and Mason Pearcy. Oginni shot 73% from the field to rack up 21 points and four steals, while Pearcy almost dropped a double-double with 17 points and nine boards. Thanks to that strong game, Pearcy now owns an excellent 40.8% three-point shooting accuracy. The team also got some help courtesy of Preston Scott, who posted seven points.

Casa Roble's loss dropped their record down to 29-5. As for Lincoln, they are on a roll lately: they've won 18 of their last 19 contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 23-9 record this season.

Casa Roble does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lincoln, they will venture away from home to face off against Santa Cruz at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Lincoln knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matchups -- so hopefully Santa Cruz likes a good challenge.
