COLEMAN, Mich. -
Coleman (Mich.) took an early lead against
Farwell (Mich.) and held on for a 36-19 victory on Saturday.
In the first quarter, the Comets put up 16 points. Coleman scored on a
Adam Stremlow touchdown pass to
Matthew Warner and a punt return touchdown by
Zachary Frazer.
After taking the lead on a touchdown pass by Stremlow to Warner in the first quarter, CHS led 24-12 at the half.
The Comets expanded their lead to 18 points entering the fourth quarter. Coleman's lone score in the quarter came on a Stremlow touchdown run.
When the two teams played each other last season, CHS came away with a 46-23 victory.
