Preview: Triplains/Brewster Titans vs. Wallace County Wildcats
After three games on the road, Triplains/Brewster is heading back home. They will take on the Wallace County Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Triplains/Brewster focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 31 on Friday.
Triplains/Brewster suffered their biggest loss since December 5, 2023 on Friday. Their tough 68-47 defeat to Golden Plains might stick with them for a while.
Despite their defeat, Triplains/Brewster saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Carson Schmidt, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds, was perhaps the best of all. The team also got some help courtesy of Koda Kvasnicka, who scored six points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Wallace County can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent contest on Saturday. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 56-25 victory over Rawlins County. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Wallace County has posted since December 9, 2023.
Triplains/Brewster's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Wallace County, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Triplains/Brewster was dealt a bruising 58-25 loss at the hands of Wallace County when the teams last played back in December of 2023. Can Triplains/Brewster avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
