Basketball Recap: Middleburg Comes Up Short

After flying high against Duval Charter last Monday, Middleburg came back down to earth. The Middleburg Broncos were outmatched by the ED White Commanders and fell 47-15. The matchup marked the Broncos' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead ED White to victory, but perhaps none more so than Zy'Keria Luellen, who posted two points and nine steals. Those nine steals gave Luellen a new career-high. Zariona Thomas was another key player, going 5 for 10 en route to 11 points and three steals.

Middleburg's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for ED White, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-12.

Middleburg has already played their next game (against Orange Park), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. ED White has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Menendez.
