Football Game Preview: Pallotti Panthers vs. Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cougars

Pallotti is preparing for their first region matchup of the season on Friday. They will head out to challenge the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cougars at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Pallotti has three straight wins, Our Lady of Mount Carmel has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Pallotti and Archbishop Curley, and Pallotti kept the tradition alive. The Panthers took down the Friars 21-6 on Friday.

Meanwhile, Our Lady of Mount Carmel came up short against Severn School on Friday and fell 28-15.

The victory got Pallotti back to even at 5-5. As for Our Lady of Mount Carmel, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

Everything came up roses for Pallotti against Our Lady of Mount Carmel in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, as the squad secured a 49-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
