Basketball Recap: Libby Mitchell Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Ansley/Litchfield

Amherst won the last time they faced Ansley/Litchfield and things went their way on Thursday too. The Amherst Broncos snuck past the Ansley/Litchfield Spartans with a 40-35 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Broncos.

Amherst's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Libby Mitchell, who posted ten points. AnnDee Jaixen was another key player, putting up eight points.

Ansley/Litchfield lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Kerry M Ryan, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 boards. With that strong performance, M Ryan is now averaging an impressive 8.3 rebounds per game.
