Basketball Recap: Peoria's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Peoria was the 58-56 winner over Bolingbrook when they last played one another back in November of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Lions took a 58-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raiders on Friday. The loss put an end to the Lions' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Peoria fell to 2-1. As for Bolingbrook, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Peoria won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Decatur Eisenhower at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Bolingbrook, they will venture away from home to face off against Romeoville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give the Raiders their first taste of in-conference action this season.
