Basketball Game Preview: Germantown Clippers vs. Rensselaer Rams

Germantown is 0-3 against Rensselaer since December of 2019 but things could change on Sunday. The Germantown Clippers will face off against the Rensselaer Rams at 11:30 a.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Germantown is headed into Sunday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Tuesday. They lost 59-33 to Hawthorne Valley. The Clippers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-12.

Meanwhile, Rensselaer managed to keep up with Catskill until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Rensselaer was outmatched by Catskill and fell 72-45. The Rams just can't catch a break and have now endured seven losses in a row.

Rensselaer's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Germantown, their loss dropped their record down to 1-10.

Germantown came up short against Rensselaer when the teams last played back in February of 2024, falling 59-49. Can Germantown avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
