Volleyball Recap: Granada Hills Charter Comes Up Short

Granada Hills Charter and Venice squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Granada Hills Charter had to settle for second. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gondoliers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Highlanders of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2022.

Granada Hills Charter's loss dropped their record down to 15-13. As for Venice, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 36-5 record this season.

Granada Hills Charter does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Venice, they will square off against El Camino Real at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Royals will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Gondoliers surely won't give up without a fight.
