Volleyball Recap: North Central Wins Going Away Against Leola/Frederick

North Central's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Leola/Frederick Titans with a sharp 3-0 win. The Thunder haven't had any issues with the Titans recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-15, 26-16.

Amree VanderVorst paced North Central's offense, picking up 12 kills. VanderVorst got some help from Camryn Witlock and her 27 assists. Finally, Ella Batie kept North Central's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

North Central's win bumped their record up to 15-7. As for Leola/Frederick, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. North Central will be taking part in a tournament against Redfield at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Leola/Frederick, after both having extra time off, they and Webster will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
