HomeSchool Resource Center took down Victory Christian Academy 72-55. The win was all the more spectacular given HomeSchool Resource Center's disadvantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 431st in Illinois, while Victory Christian Academy is ranked 157th in Indiana).
It was another big night for Fredrick Jefferson, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and 12 rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 12 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Cedrick Jefferson, who scored 15 points along with four steals.
HomeSchool Resource Center is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-16 record this season. As for Victory Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-5.
