Football Recap: Chino Hills' Undefeated Season over After Three Games + How To Watch

After flying high against El Camino last Friday, Chino Hills came back down to earth. The Huskies came up short against the San Juan Hills Stallions on Friday, falling 42-21. While losing is never fun, the Huskies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 73rd, while the Stallions are ranked 19th).

Despite the loss, Chino Hills still got an impressive performance from Jacob Jimenez, who rushed for 118 yards and one TD. Jimenez is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 109 every time he's taken the field this season. Alex Medyn was in the mix as well, providing Chino Hills with two scores.

San Juan Hills' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Timmy Herr, who threw for 304 yards and five touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes. Those 304 passing yards gave Herr a new career-high. San Juan Hills' leading receiver Luke Frith was Herr's top target yet again, picking up 185 receiving yards and three TDs.

Having lost for the first time this season, Chino Hills fell to 2-1. As for San Juan Hills, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Chino Hills has already played their next game, a 37-3 win against JW North on the 11th. As for San Juan Hills, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 34-26 defeat against Rockwall-Heath on the 12th.
