Basketball Recap: Buna Piles Up the Points Against Hardin

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Kountze, Buna was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They blew past the Hardin Hornets 95-43. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 69-24 on January 3rd.

Buna has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 11-19 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 40.7 points. As for Hardin, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-12.

Buna and Hardin could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Buna will face off against Orangefield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday down 746 places (1175 vs. 429). Meanwhile, Hardin (ranked 1375th) will meet East Chambers (ranked 392nd) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
