Basketball Game Preview: DSST: Cedar Falcons vs. Denver Christian Thunder

The DSST: Cedar Falcons are taking a road trip to face off against the Denver Christian Thunder at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

DSST: Cedar can't be too happy about their upcoming road contest considering what happened when they opened their season away from home on Friday. They fell 75-62 to Windsor Charter Academy. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

Meanwhile, Denver Christian ended up a good deal behind Windsor Charter Academy on Saturday and lost 79-60. The loss put an end to the Thunder's undefeated start to the season.

DSST: Cedar will have to contain Jayden Cain as he made an impact in Denver Christian's last game. He shot 79% from the field on his way to 25 points and five rebounds. Cain's big performance that afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 17 points. Luke DeBoer was another key player, putting up 13 points and eight boards.

DSST: Cedar suffered a grim 71-46 defeat to Denver Christian when the teams last played back in December of 2024. Thankfully for the Falcons, Kaden Moore (who dropped a double-double with 20 points and 12 rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
