Softball Recap: Lincoln Takes a Loss

Lincoln lost against Tri-Valley back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Railsplitters fell 5-1 to the Vikings. The Railsplitters have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 13-15. As for Tri-Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-4-1 record this season.

Lincoln will take on MacArthur at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Railsplitters are facing the Generals at the right time seeing as the Generals are stuck on a 16-game losing streak. As for Tri-Valley, they will challenge Bloomington Central Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
