East Wake Academy won the last time they faced Wake Prep Academy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Eagles put the hurt on the Guardians with a sharp 14-2 win. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by ten runs or more this season.

James Duffield was a standout: he fired off two home runs and six RBI while going 2-for-3. Those two home runs gave him a new career-high. Robbie Johnston was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one home run and five RBI.

East Wake Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .545. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Wake Prep Academy only posted an OBP of .250.

East Wake Academy's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-3. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Wake Prep Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-6.
