Soccer Recap: MacArthur Comes Up Short

After flying high against South San Antonio last Tuesday, MacArthur came back down to earth. The MacArthur Brahmas fell just short of the Harlandale Indians by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Brahmas came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 143rd, while the Indians are ranked 463rd).

MacArthur's defeat dropped their record down to 11-2-1. As for Harlandale, they now have a winning record of 6-5-1.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Winn the next time they take the pitch. MacArthur will host Winn at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Harlandale will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on February 18th.
