Skyline was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-6 heartbreaker at the hands of the Fremont Tigers. On the bright side, the six- run effort marked the Titans' highest-scoring game to date.

Skyline's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Fremont, their win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-2.

Looking ahead, Skyline will head out on the road to take on Leadership at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fremont will be paying especially close attention to the Titans' matchup: after the Titans faces off against Leadership, they'll take on Fremont again at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
