Basketball Recap: Coal Ridge Extends Winning Streak to Three + How To Watch

Coal Ridge extended their winning streak to three on Thursday, bumping them up to 3-1. They blew past the Battle Mountain Huskies 76-50. The Titans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 22 points or more this season.

Coal Ridge had a senior duo take command as Alex Cornejo went 8-for-14 on his way to 19 points along with six assists and three steals and Diego Gamez dropped a double-double with 11 points and ten steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Cornejo has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Gio Parker, who shot 67% from the field to rack up 14 points and three steals.

Coal Ridge smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 16 consecutive matchups dating back to last season.
