Massaponax is 8-2 against Colonial Forge since February of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Panthers will head out on the road to challenge the Eagles at 6:45 p.m. Massaponax will be strutting in after a win while Colonial Forge will be coming in after a defeat.

Massaponax took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They snuck past Tuscarora with a 76-70 victory.

Massaponax got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Tre Bowler out in front who almost dropped a double-double with 21 points and nine rebounds. Christian Hooks was another key player, putting up 15 points in addition to six assists and five boards.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Saturday. Colonial Forge received a blow as they fell 62-48 to Edison. The loss continues a trend for Colonial Forge in their meetings with Edison: they've now lost three in a row.

Massaponax will have to contain Taysean Jones as he made an impact in Colonial Forge's last game. He made all 6 shots he took to post 15 points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Brock Brimhall, who posted eight points and ten boards.

The victory got Massaponax back to even at 1-1. As for Colonial Forge, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Massaponax couldn't quite finish off Colonial Forge in their previous matchup back in February and fell 48-45. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
