Basketball Recap: Valley Forge Takes a Loss

Valley Forge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 28th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 37-21 bruising from the Bay Rockets. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 48-9 back in January.

Despite the loss, Valley Forge still got an impressive performance from Gracie Kercher, who posted eight points.

Valley Forge's defeat dropped their record down to 0-19. As for Bay, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Valley Forge has already played their next game (against Lakewood), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Bay will head out to take on Westlake at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Westlake will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Bay surely won't give up without a fight.
