Soccer Recap: Blue Ridge Takes a Loss

Blue Ridge lost against Daniel back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Fighting Tigers came up short against the Lions, falling 10-0. While losing is never fun, Blue Ridge can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 165th, while Daniel are ranked 39th).

Blue Ridge dropped their record down to 1-6-1 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Daniel, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-2-1.

Blue Ridge didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Berea on the 8th. As for Daniel, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Eastside on the 7th.
