Fort Yukon snaps five-game streak of wins on the road

Recap: Fort Yukon Eagles vs. Non Varsity Opponent
After a string of nine wins, the Fort Yukon Eagles's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They were beaten by Non Varsity Opponent 67-34. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Fort Yukon has scored all season.
Despite the loss, Fort Yukon saw an underclassman step up: Nellie Ward scored 12 points.
Fort Yukon's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-1. As for Non Varsity Opponent, their victory bumped their record up to 90-158.
Fort Yukon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Non Varsity Opponent will head out on the road to challenge Compass Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
