Recap: West Logan Christian Academy Warriors vs. Bloomingdale Blazers
On Thursday, West Logan Christian Academy took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 72-33 win over Bloomingdale. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 39-12.
West Logan Christian Academy was led to victory by James Scites and Jacob Walls. Scites scored 17 points, while Walls scored 21 points. The match was Walls' third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Adex Martin , who scored nine points.
Despite the loss, Bloomingdale still got an impressive performance from Sutton Roten, who scored 13 points along with nine rebounds. Roten also posted two blocks for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Dorian Reese, who scored six points.
West Logan Christian Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Bloomingdale, their defeat ended a 12-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-2.
West Logan Christian Academy is on the road again on Friday and play against Greater Beckley Christian at 12:00 p.m. on December 15th. Bloomingdale will be home for the holidays to greet Parkersburg Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
