Volleyball Game Preview: Fort Wayne Snider Panthers vs. Heritage Patriots

The Fort Wayne Snider Panthers will head out to square off against the Heritage Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Fort Wayne Snider comes in on three and Heritage on six.

It was a proper cat-fight when Fort Wayne Snider duked it out with Elkhart on Saturday. The Panthers came out on top against the Lions by a score of 3-1.

Fort Wayne Snider had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 12-25, 26-24, 25-13, 25-18.

Fort Wayne Snider relied on the efforts of Myo Ko, who had 12 digs, and Pau Lak, who had 34 assists and four digs. Lak is on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 15 or more in each of the last eight games he's played.

Meanwhile, Heritage got the win against Norwell on Monday by a conclusive 3-0.

Heritage was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-17, 25-16.

Heritage pushed their record up to 9-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Fort Wayne Snider, their victory bumped their record up to 11-2.

Fort Wayne Snider was able to grind out a solid win over Heritage in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
