Preview: Ramsay Rams vs. Gulf Shores Dolphins

The Ramsay Rams are on the road again on Thursday and play against the Gulf Shores Dolphins at 7:00 p.m. on December 7th. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Ramsay had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They put the hurt on Guntersville with a sharp 35-14 win on Friday. Ramsay's victory was all the more impressive since Guntersville was averaging only 14.08 points allowed on the season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ramsay to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kameron Keenan, who threw for 415 yards and three touchdowns while completing 81.3% of his passes. Tremell Washington was another key contributor, picking up 160 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

Meanwhile, Gulf Shores put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They really took it to Eufaula for the full four quarters, racking up a 45-0 win at home. The match was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Gulf Shores had established a 35 point advantage.

Kolin Wilson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 269 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 14.2 yards per carry. Wilson's longest rush was for an incredible 74 yards. Another player making a difference was Ronnie Royal, who rushed for 118 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries.

Gulf Shores' defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB three times. Jordan Watson was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two sacks himself.

Ramsay's victory bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Gulf Shores, their win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-0.
