Soccer Game Preview: Hillsboro vs. Jackson

The Hillsboro Indians will challenge the Jackson Ironman/Ironladies at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hillsboro will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each matchup than the last.

Hillsboro's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Washington with a sharp 7-0 win. Considering Hillsboro have won six matches by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Washington from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Kobie Miles led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, neither Jackson nor McClain could gain the upper hand on Thursday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Jackson's draw gives them a new season record of 6-5-2. As for Hillsboro, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
