Southwestern entered their tilt with Austin on Friday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Austin Eagles 53-51. That's more bragging rights for the Rebels, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Braxton Lewis was his usual excellent self, going 8-for-15 en route to 23 points. Landon Kidwell was another key player, putting up 11 points.
