Hempfield Area put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victors by a 16-1 margin over the Woodland Hills Wolverines. The Spartans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 matchups by nine runs or more this season.

Hempfield Area pushed their record up to 18-0 with the victory, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.1 runs on average over those games. As for Woodland Hills, they are on a 22-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Hempfield Area beat the Wolverines by a score of 28-0 later that day.
