Basketball Game Preview: Blackstone Valley RVT Beavers vs. Douglas Tigers

The Blackstone Valley RVT Beavers will venture away from home to square off against the Douglas Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Blackstone Valley RVT will be strutting in after a victory while Douglas will be coming in after a loss.

While Beavers fans will have to keep waiting for their team to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Friday's season opener. They came out on top against Keefe Tech by a score of 64-52 on Friday.

Bryton Buckley was the offensive standout of the game as he posted 19 points. Ayden Joseph was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Meanwhile, Douglas unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They were beaten by Uxbridge 63-32 on Friday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it 20 in a row.

Blackstone Valley RVT suffered a grim 59-37 defeat to Douglas in their previous matchup back in December of 2023.
