On Friday, Mandan faced Legacy in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Mandan Braves put the hurt on Legacy with a sharp 72-52 win. The Braves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 20 points or more this season.

Mandan is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-2 record this season. As for Legacy, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 10-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mandan will head out to face off against Minot at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Minot knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 contests -- so hopefully Mandan likes a good challenge. As for Legacy, they are taking a road trip to take on Williston at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Legacy is facing Williston at the right time seeing as Williston is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
