Recap: Malden Golden Tornados vs. Lynn English Bulldogs
The Malden Golden Tornados lost against the Lynn English Bulldogs back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Malden was outmatched by Lynn English at home and fell 70-29. Malden has struggled against Lynn English recently, as their match on Tuesday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
It was another big night for Kyle Kemembin, who scored 19 points along with five assists and five steals for Lynn English. Another player making a difference was Louis Ledesma, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Malden's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Lynn English, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Malden will take on Everett at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Everett is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Lynn English, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Medford at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Medford will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Massachusetts Rankings (they are ranked 256th, while Lynn English is ranked 77th).
