Softball Preview: Franklin County Lions vs. Prince Avenue Christian Wolverines        
        
		
             The Franklin County Lions will stay at home for another  game and welcome the Prince Avenue Christian Wolverines at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
 Franklin County's hitters might be in the hot seat  on Thursday considering what happened against Hebron Christian  on Tuesday. They came up short against  the Lions, falling  8-0. Franklin County hasn't had much luck with Hebron Christian recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
 Meanwhile, Prince Avenue Christian entered their tilt with East Jackson on Tuesday with seven consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with eight. They put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp  13-1 victory. The Wolverines might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by eight  runs or more this season.
 Franklin County's loss  ended  a  six-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 12-7. As for Prince Avenue Christian, their win was  their 27th straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 12-3.
 Franklin County came up short against Prince Avenue Christian in their previous meeting  back in August of 2016, falling  6-2. Can Franklin County avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
