Basketball Game Preview: Resurrection Christian Cougars vs. Eaton Reds

Resurrection Christian is 9-1 against Eaton since January of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Resurrection Christian Cougars will look to defend their home court against the Eaton Reds at 7:00 p.m. Resurrection Christian is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last 17 games dating back to last season.

Last Thursday, Resurrection Christian beat DSST: Green Valley Ranch 41-31.

Resurrection Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ty Yoder, who went 7 of 16 on his way to 22 points along with six boards and three steals. Yoder's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Graham Riggs, who posted six points and eight rebounds.

Resurrection Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in three consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Eaton humbled Fort Lupton with a 71-42 victory. That 29 point margin sets a new team best for the Reds this season.

Resurrection Christian pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 28.3 points. As for Eaton, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
